Anti-Consultation

We are interested in a form of dialogue that is based on deep listening, empathy, empowerment

Consultation is a dialogic process, yet it is often premeditated, lacks an imaginative approach and can be inappropriate. We know that existing methods of consultation can be damaging and can further marginalise people from the processes of creating change or speaking out. We are interested in a form of dialogue which is based on deep listening, empathy, empowerment and recognising the expertise of individuals and communities. This is rooted in the idea that a community holds within it the vision and answers to any project or problem responding to its own needs.

We are interested in forms of consultation and workshops for change, which include: meals, parties, interviews, film making, community art, cooking, skills exchange, building, mapping, walking…

Please contact us if you are interested in developing a creative conversation, a workshop or a dialogue.
